Other

The room isn't just video arcade machines there's plenty of other stuff in there too. To give it a pier arcade feel I have a free standing Coinlne Speed Test, a popcorn machine and a candyfloss (cotton candy) machine. There is a list below of other items I have in the games room at the moment including the non-arcade items. It does change occasionally and I tend to have more than one of most things (except the arcade machines). The list below is quite out of date and this page will be replaced soon by an online collections catalogue with many high quality photographs, detailed descriptions and downloads of digital content.

Power supply!
The arcade machines in my room are all plugged in to a domestic power supply. I do occasionally run them all at once and so take a few precautions to keep the hardware safe. First of all, everything is correctly fused, secondly it's all surge protected from voltage spikes. Each machine is plugged into a socket that has an orange LED to let me know that power is being supplied and green LED to let me know when surge protection is active.

Finally I'd like to say a big thank you to my arcade assistant. May is 9 years old and enjoys helping me to look after the machines, both by play testing but also by getting her hands dirty and helping with restoration.
